Working Together to Design Your Wedding
Your story is unique, so your wedding should be as well. But what does it actually mean to work together on a personalized event design? At Three Notch, all of our clients can expect an intimate, creative, and detailed experience.
01. Phone + In-Person Consultation
The process of creating a custom design starts with getting to know you and learning what parts of your story you want to highlight with design. You also get to know me. I'll work with you to brain storm options and (less fun) help you take into account logistics. Don't worry about not knowing what questions to ask or what flowers are in season. I'll go through everything.
02. Site Visits
You see a space differently than I do. You may love an architectural feature that others have overlooked. I may have thoughts on where to place tables and arrangements for the best visibility. No matter how many times we've worked in a space, I visit with you (with sample vases and tape measure in hand) so we can make the space yours.
03. Consultation on Other Design Elements
Your wedding is not just flowers. It's the collection of all the elements together -- candles and lighting, linens and servingware, furniture and displays, paper goods and styling elements. When all those elements work together, you and your guests feel it. You're transported to special moment in time. Three Notch has a number of items in-house from table numbers to carpets. But I also can work with you to strategize rentals from outside companies.
04. Designs & Day-Of Oversight by Cara
After spending months working together to finalize your event design, the last thing you (or I) want is your design handed off to strangers! This is a practicality with large design studios that have many events on the same day. At Three Notch, I work with only 15 to 20 events a year and never multiple events on the same day. Your wedding will come together exactly as we discussed because either I personally create or I oversee my team create every element of your event.
